Cell Straitjacket (Size large) Strait from the Asylum is a Canadian company that markets a novel line of straitjackets for the escape artist community. The jackets are very well made from heavy cotton canvas with leather straps. One very nice feature is an extra wide, leather rimmed neck. This feature makes the jacket quite comfortable and easy to take over the head without undoing the top buckle. As can be seen in the picture there are some interesting labels that give the jacket some extra character, a real designers touch. Overall this jacket is very well made and is highly recommended, a perfect choice for a night out on the town.
The jacket comes with advice on how to escape. In fact, they also sell a gimmicked version of the jacket that makes escape very easy. Now why would anyone want to escape from such a nice jacket? The more important question is , "how do you make the jacket more secure?" There are several tricks that work on most any jacket. First, make sure that the jacket is sized properly, there is nothing worse than a jacket that is oversized. Second, make sure that the arms are properly placed, in particular make sure that the top arm does not go on top of the elbow of the lower arm. Third, while fastening the arm strap pass it under one of the back straps. This makes it much more difficult to bring the arms up over the head. Most important, don't forget to have a good time!
