Lite Industries, Inc. Straitjacket (size large) This Lite Industries brand straitjacket
is similar in style to the popular Melrose straitjacket of the 1960s and 70s. It
buckles in the front, has side loops for the arms and
fastens with slider buckles. The buckles themselves are not all that secure, particularly
so since they are in the front, but the company has thoughtfully included a
diagram showing how each strap is to be knotted after the buckling.
The Lite Industries jacket is very similar to the Melrose as well as the
Dandux jacket manufactured by the C.R. Daniels Co. If you know anything about the
Melrose jacket or its relation to the Lite Industries jacket please send me an email.
